Breakthrough - 07 Apr 06

Hey my dear friends, thanks for your prayers for my most recent challenge. I finally received my breakthrough last Friday (07 Apr 06). Praise Him !

WEEK 1 – Had a job offer soon after I came back from my Taiwan business trip. Praise God.

Perks :
1) Something I wanted to do… nursing…well, not exactly also..
2) Salary much higher than what I am getting at the moment.
3) New boss and colleagues seemed friendly and easy to work with.

Only issue : New office very far away, almost 1 hour traveling time.

Dilemma. Should I tender ? Should I stay ?

Boss is out of town on business trip for a whole week. Didn’t want to inform her as didn’t want to affect her.

Thought of the time (5 years 7 months) spent here in the present company.
“Freedom” in the office.
Colleagues and friends I’ve made.
Good bosses that I have (though sometimes unreasonable in their demands … but generally ok).
How to break the news ?
What if …

Think, think, think… emotional stress… couldn’t sleep well for one whole week… pimples popped up, back pain acted up, swollen eyes (not enough sleep + crying)…

WEEK 2 – Boss back. Tendered resignation.

Boss was surprisingly calm (I expected otherwise). Perhaps she expected it somehow ?
Boss came back to say management refuse to let me go. So how, I asked.
They will counter-offer, she said.
Need management approval. All big bosses are on business trips, will take a few days (time differences).

Surprisingly, while my boss said the above, I felt God’s peace just flooded my heart supernaturally, something I wanted for the past week for this matter but did not receive.

All will be well, He says.Just trust Me. See how I work things out for you.

Finally on last Friday (07 Apr 06), everything’s confirmed. I’m staying. Financial breakthrough also. Praise God.
