Taiwan Trip (19-26 Dec 06, 15 adults + 2 kids)

Yeah ! Am back from Taiwan finally! Time to share God's blessings !

Weather blessing - Sunny and windy weather, not too cold for discomfort throughout the whole trip. Though the weather reports every night forecasted rain the following day, it didn’t rain at all during the time we were there, not till the last day when we were on our way to the airport. Praise God!

Divinely protected from crash - Both my sister and myself were actually sitting near to the back of the bus but as a family of 6 would like to sit together, we shifted to sit right at the front of the bus instead. During one of the bus journeys, due to the narrow road, the bus actually tilted and crashed unto one of the big signboards, causing one big panel of window to crack and the tempered glass to shatter all over. No one was hurt though. Still, we thank God we shifted to the front. Divinely protected !

Restoration of my mum’s lost pendant – We were brought to a hot spring during the trip. We had to bathe before we go into the spring waters. However, during the changing, my mum’s pendant dropped and couldn’t be found. The tour guide and the owners of the spa tried to look for it frantically but to no avail. My sister and I prayed silently in our hearts (unknown to each other) that Daddy God will restore that lost pendant somehow. And He did ! It was found later at one of the pockets of my mum’s waist pouch later on, wonder how it dropped there as we would have placed all our stuffs at the lockers earlier prior to the bathe. Nonetheless, praise God !

Divinely protected at hotel – For the first 4 days of the trip, due to the travel itinerary, we had to move from hotel to hotel each night. For each hotel room we stayed in, both my sister and I would pray for Daddy God’s precious blood to cover us all and protect us from any evil spirits.

For the last 3 days of the trip however, we stayed at the same Taipei hotel. As always, my sister and I prayed as we settled down in the hotel room for God’s protection and all.

During the last night of our hotel stay, however, my 2 aunts who were sharing the room next to us, encountered some disturbances during their sleep, but thankfully they were ok. Just suffered some shocks and of cos lack of sleep after that. Thank God the rest of us were protected.

All in all, this whole trip was a fruitful one. Not only did we find out more about Taiwan, their way of life, their various kinds foods, we also got closer as a family. Initially, I was pretty apprehensive about going on such family trips as things could get “ugly” if arguments arose among relatives. Nonetheless, all went well and everyone got along well. Praise God.

I also caught up with one of my cousins especially since he got married and had a family. We shared and he gave me some of advice which was confirmation of something I believed God had put in my heart lately. Praise God for that too.

Best of all, at the end of the trip, all of us had already started discussing about where to go for this coming year end ! I believe this is a good start to future such family trips together and I certainly look forward to more to come! Amen!
