Be responsible..

It's easy to blame family members, co-workers, governments and everybody else when things don't go right for you. In fact, pointing the finger has become one of the more unattractive traits of our society. Don't hide behind a litany of excuses and accusations. Instead, take responsibility for the choices and decisions you make. Face up to those mistakes you have committed. The sooner you do, the sooner you'll be able to recognize your mistakes, correct them and move on to better things.

Was reminded of the recent case of the Tampines family of four who died cos of what the head the family done. Then we have the family who moved to Australia and planned to kill their 2 young daughters by pills as they planned to “escape” from some court case in Singapore. What is the concept of families coming about in Singapore ? Aren’t family or homes a place of security and refuge for weary souls ?

Am so blessed to have a good earthly family and of coz a heavenly family with God the father, Jesus and lots of brothers and sisters in Christ. A family whom we know we are accepted and approved with all our faults and idiosyncrasies and whatever bad habits we have. Of cos, as we slowly discover more and more of Jesus, we change, we shed layers of our “old-self” and be a “new creation”. Praise God. In a world that is getting darker and darker, Jesus just gets brighter and brighter ! Hallelujah.
