Wow.. another christmas present from Jesus !

I passed my Final Theory Test ! Yippee... received the letter of notification on 27 Dec 04.. thank you Jesus.. went to get my PDL (Provisional Driving Licence) yesterday and will start my driving lessons probably this coming saturday. Am excited and scared at the same time.. kinda difficult to express that kind of emotions.. just whack and go lar...

Thank you Jesus !

Baby Emma's arrival... 16 Dec 2004

I have a new niece ! Baby Emma arrived on 16 Dec 2004.

I visited her and her parents (my cousin and cousin-in-law) at their house about 8 days later on Christmas Eve. Baby Emma was lying sleeping in her baby cot when i arrived. So peaceful, so pretty and smell so nice...i looked at her... i look at her little hand, her fingers and small little foot and toes... and i nearly cried.

Whenever i see a small little baby, i always feel very emotional coz i am very amazed at how God can create a small little baby as such, so delicately, with the cute little eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks, hands, legs... etc etc... and HE did all that while the baby is still in the mother's womb ! It's just so awesome and totally intriguing.

As i sat there next to the baby cot watching intently on baby Emma as she sleeps on peacefully, i'm reminded of what God says in the bible, "He who watches over us will not slumber".. and that God knows exactly the number of hair on our head... that Jesus said He will never leave us nor forsake us...

Then my cousin (daddy) came over and he too sat in the chair just next to the baby cot and looked at his baby... he told me that everytime after work, no matter how tired, he will sit down there in the chair, next to the baby cot, and just look at his baby as she sleeps on. If my cousin, who is a mere man does that, how much more does God, the creator of the heaven and the earth does that ? I'm sure He watches over each and everyone of us like that too and as He is not human but God, He is NEVER tired !! He watches us from day one when we were born, lying on the baby cot till we are as big as now... and though we are big now, when we think we know it all, God's eyes never leaves us.. we are FOREVER the apple of His eyes, precious in His sight !

I thank God for reminding me of His wonderful love for me. This is indeed the best Christmas present ! Praise Jesus !

NCC Christmas @ Orchard

Hi hi... it's been a long time since i blog.. reason ? coz i was on leave from work ! hahaha... okie okie..i know, i will try to blog next time even tho' i am on leave ok ? hee hee...

Hmm.. hope everyone's christmas is as enjoyable as mine ! Can't say i did a lot of stuffs or went many parties (i dun quite fancy them anyway) during this christmas period.. i went for our church christmas concert (organised by Singapore Tourism Board) on 22 Dec 04 and must say our music and worship team did really well. The big christmas tree behind the stage was impressive... with all those lights, butterflies decorations etc ... what a sight ! The music & singing was impeccable (though i personally feel the sound system is not too impressive, but let's forget about it.. kinda difficult to control the sound level and quality in a open area as such esp when u have to compete with the cars on the roads nearby etc).

When the music started and Angie sang the first song (was it Happy Birthday Jesus ?), i could feel a breeze blowing past the whole place.. its like the presence of the Holy Spirit... so calm, so cool and so comforting. The breeze continued till the end of the concert... wonder if anyone else noticed it... it was so comfortable...

All thanks to Jesus... and HE is indeed the reason for Christmas, let's not forget that.

Navy Advertisement

Hi, has anyone seen the new Navy advertisement shown on the MRT trains lately ? It is a new advert for the position of Systems Analyst Specialist i think. The scene opens at the shipyard where there is a battle ship at the dock. Afterwhich, the battle ship "transforms" itself into an agile, huge robot, "fly" up in the sky and land on the dock itself. It then detects on its left arm an "enemy", and sends out a missle via it's right arm.

Not sure if any of you noticed, there were actually 3 persons walking just behind the area where the machine robot landed. Funny thing is when the huge machine robot landed, the 3 persons behind did not even fall down !!?? The impact from the landing of the robot seems great (with dust flying and all..) Hmm... maybe, the robot knows chinese martial arts "Qing-gong" ??!! hahaha....

Ridiculously blessed, Unreasonably loved & Supernaturally favoured

Woh...a brand new week is here. Am excited coz i'm expecting supernatural favour upon me this week ! Hee hee...

Was super blessed yesterday as i sat in for 2nd service, then served for 3rd and 4th service, which means i listened to pastor's sermon for 3 times in a row ! Really helps to drill those points pastor brought up into my heart.

Pastor mentioned that sometimes we are blessed without us knowing or acknowledging it. Something like blessed "accidentally". On thinking back, i had this experience too.. recently i went with my sis to buy some jewellery for my mum. We were given 2 lucky draw cards where there are 3 columns and u get to scratch a square each in each column. If u get all 3 numbers in the 3 columns different, u get nothing, if there are 2 similar numbers, u get to buy any jewellery at 20% off, if u get all 3 similar numbers, u need only pay S$1 for any pendant that is below S$100 value. Know what ? I got all 3 similar numbers ! That means i only need to pay S$1 to buy a pendant that is worth S$100 originally ! I was so happy and feeling super blessed then, immediately gave thanks to God coz it's only Him that can cause such miracles, agree ?

I have a blessed family, wonderful parents, lovely sister and for my relatives, esp my cousins, thank God, we are all close as we grew up together. I remember those times when we play "pa-pa, ma-ma" in my aunt's house after our probably 2-3 hours of study sessions together. My 7th aunt will teach us at the small little blackboard and all of us will sit down in front of the blackboard and listen to her. Really very cute. Should have taken photographs or some video of those times then. Wonderful memories.

Had a great time laughing, giggling and playing badminton last night with my friends. Always enjoy those times... sometimes i wonder why am i so giggly... maybe that's the real me !? hahaha.... bible says a merry heart is good medicine, so i shall keep a merry heart then. ;-)

Dewey asked me what does "Kasumi" means ... hmm, actually Kasumi is the name of a small little flowered body bear that is hanging on the left side of my computer monitor in office. A colleague gave it to me and there was a name and date of birth on the bear. Wanted to find one that matches my birthday but was unable to find as they have limited stock. Anyway, decided to name this blog as "Kasumi" as i really like this small little bear.

Am not a sucker for soft toys really.. I believe this is probably the first soft toy i received from others, the other soft toy (which happens to be a bear too, now that i recall) is bought by myself .. *smile*

Anyway, i seldom have friends who will give me soft toys as presents as they always see me as the "da-jie-da" or elder sister kind. I do like those small little ones...

Did i ever tell anyone that I have always wanted a big brother ? I ever asked my mum why she didn't give birth to a son before me, then I would have a "gor gor" mah, correct ? She can never answer that question... and through the years, I've also stopped asking her the question. What answer can i get anyway ? Hahahaha....

Its end of the year and the auditors are here again. Seriously, i never liked them (not the persons, rather the job) and secretly i thank God that i did not opt to go towards that line. Today they asked for even more stuffs, some of which would definitely need more time to retrieve as the person handling these areas had resigned... we need to "dig" her documents to see what we can find. And here comes the auditors chasing us for the information. While we sought to "entertain" the auditors, we are also at the same time rushing for our November month end reportings... Sigh ..... Can somebody shoot me pls !?

I'm so glad my year end christmas break is coming.. and i'm definitely looking forward to it. Wish i had booked holidays to go somewhere out of Singapore. But considering the increase in airfare & hotel prices, plus the crowd... maybe its a better idea to "nuah" at home or gather with some friends for a cup of tea instead.

Looking forward to the bible study session tonight in church. Will be serving too.. see u there ! *smile*

Another day....

kasumi was sick yesterday... took mc home to sleep... but ended up watching vcds.. hahaha... okie... one of my favourite past time is watching vcds... but i do not just watch any vcd shows, i pick and choose too.. hahaha... i like especially detective stories or any uniformed groups (like firemen etc) shows.. [a side thought, how come there isn't a show on postman ? hmm....] Anyway, i came back to work today and was asked to come back to work on 24th Dec, Christmas eve ! A bit upset as i was supposed to be clearing my 2003 annual leave since 21st Dec all the way to 30th Dec. Originally planned to come back on 31st Dec (officially) to clear up all my work. Secretly (i have not informed my bosses), i had planned to come back on 30th Dec to clear some of my work first so i need not work too late on 31st Dec. This is on my own account. The big bosses from Paris will be down next Monday for meetings and i am sure this will be one of their matters for discussions. Hopefully i will not need to come back on the 24th Dec... I will be the only person working in the whole of 29th floor ! sob sob.... Chow for now.. need to make some phone calls to the banks to chase for some stuffs ! Be back soon !

New experience

Hmm... this is new... thanks to my friend, dancing tomato... hahaha... Work is kind of boring at the moment as things are progressing slowly. Markets are slowly (and i mean really slowly) opening up.. I've been "idle" for a while now.. except for the few more "exciting" moments.. such as how to "escape from under my boss's nose" etc. hahaha Shall not write too much now.. going to read newspapers now... be back soon... ganbatte everyone !
